Wet Granulation

For wet granulation Di Calcium Phosphate Anhydrous (Milled) is used.

Wet granulation continues to be a widely used method in the manufacture of Tablets. In this process, granules are formed from wetted mixtures of the pre-blended tablet ingredients (usually milled form of active ingredients plus excipients), dried, screened and compressed into tablets. This method is often employed in tablets that have either a low dose active or a very high dose of active.

For Soft Gel capsules, Di Calcium Phosphate Anhydrous of Bulk Density more than 1.1 gm/cc is used. High Bulk Density and fine particle size makes it ideal for smooth production of soft gel capsules.
